It's been
said many times, and it's true: No other American city of comparable size can
even approach the array of cultural offerings available in Santa Fe. All year
long, but especially in the summer, New Mexico's capital city is an ongoing festival
of music, dance, theater, film and other lively arts. From the world-famous Santa
Fe Opera to the oldest home-based community theater in the West, Santa Fe has
it all-and then some. As the Convention and Visitors Bureau puts it succinctly,
"Santa Fe IS culture."
