Cloaked in hooded robes -- like monks of a savage order -- the Brotherhood of the Angels of Darkness arrive in the dead of night in a dead land, where they proceed to crucify one of their own as a sacred sacrifice to their internecine cause. They then assassinate cattle baron Harry Wentworth, the most powerful man in New Mexico Territory in the year 1884.
So begins Blood Oath, a tale that weaves classic western fiction with elements of the occult, terrorism, racial hegemony and reverse racism, all of which lend the story a unique context that becomes all the more complicated when intertwined with its two dominant themes: love and revenge.
